M.J.C, born John Chaya on April, 2000 is an emerging artist based in Lundazi, Zambia.He embarked on his musical journey in 2020, driven by a passion for creating and sharing his unique sound with the world.
In 2022, M.J.C took a significant step in his career by founding his own record label, Original Silver Stars Records, marking a new era for his artistic expression
and independence.
With a strong commitment to his craft, M.J.C released his debut album, “Promise,” in 2023. This album features 18 captivating tracks that resonate with his experiences
and artistic vision, showcasing his evolution as an artist.
Having completed his G12 at Msekera Day Secondary School (Chipata) in 2021, M.J.C combines education with his passion for music. In addition to his artist pursuits, he
opened “The Original Silver Stars Records” recording studio in 2023, providing a creative hub for himself and other musicians.
M.J.C has actively engaged with the community through live interviews on platforms such as Mphangwe 88.9 FM, Explores 91.3 FM, and Chikaya 98.5 FM, further
establishing his presence in the Zambian music scene.
