Rising Zambian star Ace Trap has released a new single, “Body Count,” following his earlier track “Ipunzise” featuring Drifta Trek. Known for controversial hits like “It’s Not Cheating,” Ace Trap is now an independent artist, reportedly leaving Headphone Music due to royalty disputes.
Zambian music is thriving, producing talents like Jay Rox, a successful artist and owner of Headphone Music, which nurtures new talent; Slapdee, a multi-award-winning rapper and XYZ Entertainments founder; Chef 187, a dedicated hip-hop artist; Yo Maps, currently Zambia’s biggest music star; and Mampi, the iconic Queen Diva who has significantly shaped the industry.
